Compassionate, relational treatment for substance use and addictive behaviors.

Substance use often develops as an adaptive attempt to regulate emotional pain, trauma, or nervous system dysregulation. At Lumi, we approach substance use with compassion, curiosity, and collaboration.

We use a harm reduction approach, meaning we support clients in moving toward greater safety, stability, and alignment with their values, without judgment or rigid expectations.

Lauren Walther holds a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) credential, reflecting specialized training and experience in addiction and recovery work. This background informs every aspect of our approach — from understanding the neuroscience of addiction to navigating the relational and emotional patterns that sustain it. At Lumi Wellness, addiction treatment is never one-size-fits-all. We work collaboratively with each client to understand their unique relationship with substances and develop a path toward greater stability and well-being.

Guided by Empathy, Focused on Healing

I am deeply passionate about helping people find relief in times of crisis or conflict. My work is grounded in a commitment to lessening suffering, restoring hope, and offering a clear way through, even when the journey is painful.

At Lumi, my goal is for every client to feel truly held and cared for. Whether you're navigating a personal crisis, relational challenges, or internal struggles, I strive to wrap care all the way around you, creating an environment where healing feels possible and progress is within reach.

You are not the darkness you endured, you are the light that refused to die.
